my balcony
this is where i get to watch the sunrise every morning, well most mornings. i actually donīt have to get out of bed, my windows are huge so i can watch it from there even.
camping
six of us hiked up a nearby mountain and camped on top, we were able to watch a nearby volcano erupt all night.
casa el mundo
a hotel in juibalito, another lakeside village...me swimming. it was a short 10 ft jump...
our dinner, casa el mundo
we had to split dinners, it was too expensive and some had to sleep on floors...but it was worth it. well except the dinner wasnīt very good, but it was pretty. that is gustav in the green, we have ... [more]

the next day after casa el mundo, we went to santiago, another lakeside village and this is brian in the hotel. strong.
ohhh...
and also before lan left we went to solola, a town up from the lake, for the sunday market. this is our taxi ride. notice us is the mirror please.
the dress
this is an example of the traditional mayan dress, all the men over about forty or fifty still wear it, and the colors and embroidery changes for each village.
and me....
i tried to do a self-timer, and well knocked my head on the top of the boat, left a huge bump, but everyone found it hilarious. and made a funny picture.
