Jazz Festival in Casco Viejo, Panama

By the way, if you are thinking on travelling this summer to Panama, Don´t miss the Jazz Fest!!! it´s a wonderful event, organized by Danilo Perez our international jazz star. There is always a free sunday concert at Plaza Catedral to close the event, which is usually a spectacular event.

This year we´ll also have a Drum Fest, I´ll find out the dates and will post later. Check for more information on the Jazz Fest: January 21 to 26th.

Organized by the Danilo Perez Foundation, the Panama Jazz Festival is a musical convention of the highest caliber, and was created in order to exchange cultural experiences between the best musicians in the world and the Panamanian people.

Each year, the festival is dedicated to a Panamanian musician that has contributed to the development of jazz music in Panama and/or the rest of the world.

All ticket sales from the Panama Jazz Festival go to the Danilo Perez Foundation for the development of all educational and scholarship programs.
