Jamaïque Pour débuter je voudrais vous décrire notre pire navigation depuis le début du voyage. Nous sommes parti de Santiago de Cuba, j'avais pris la météo la veille et les vents annoncé était de 15 kn avec des vagues de 6 pi. Bon pas la perfection mais pas si mal. Juste avant de partir, la météo a changé et le vent est devenu 20 kn et les vagues à 8 pi. Et la direction était de face. Nous avons décidé de partir quand même car le dédouanement n'est pas facile et le bateau devenait de plus en plus sale à cause de la pollution de la baie. En partant de Cuba j'ai décidé de diminuer ma voile avant et d'installer un foc sur mon étai largable qui réduirait la gîte. La corde de l'enrouleur du génois ... read more

NO LOGBOOK FOR THE LAST WEEK.....but here we are again! on the 9th of january we have left cuba with 14 souls on board /people are from germany, luxembourg, us, uk, sweden, russia and colombia) the sailing was fast and easy so we arrived to port antonio and dropped anchor under sails there on monday 10th. now we are enjoying jamaica...today an excursion with a rented car in the mountains to some waterfalls and later beach....weather is tropical style heat and humidity....ya man... read more

Published: December 11th 2010Central America Caribbean » Jamaica » Port Antoniolast night we had several sailmaneouvres because of permanent changing winds or suddenly no winds and we had to motorsail the most of the night. in the morning the ene breeze came back so we stopped the motor again and since then we are sailing smoothly towards jamaicas east-tip. everybody is well now and used to the ships movements and we need to cook the double as in the last days before;-) we have caught some little tunas and a kingfish wich we will have tonight for dinner.... read more
