BusIn Central America we ride in style.
Guatemala City to Esteli, Nicaragua
While traveling by school bus from 3pm until 7am, we listened to select favorite tunes of the bus driver nonstop. At 4am, Lisa awoke to hear "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic blaring over the speakers and did a little "Dawes Dance" to the beat. Sing along outloud to understand our journey through Honduras.
Bus enters Honduras music ques-
Pump up the jam
Pump it up
While your feet are stompin'
And the jam is pumpin'
Look at here the crowd is jumpin'
Pump it up a little more
Music pauses, bus stops, Honduran cop enters bus and shines red plastic flashlight in passengers eyes, bus driver exits bus with cop, cop demands bribe, bribe payed, bus driver enters bus, music turned up, bus contiues on journey
Get the party going on the dance floor
Seek us that's where the party's at
And you'll find out if you're too bad
I don't want a place to stay
Get your boody on the floor tonight
Make my day
I don't want a place to stay
Get your boody on the floor tonight
Make my day
Music pauses, bus stops, Honduran cop enters bus and shines red plastic flashlight in passengers eyes, bus driver exits bus with cop, cop demands bribe, bribe payed, bus driver enters bus, music turned up, bus contiues on journey
Make my day
Make my day
Make my day
Make my day
Yo!
Pump up the jam
Pump it up
While your feet are stompin'
Music pauses, bus stops, Honduran cop enters bus and shines red plastic flashlight in passengers eyes, bus driver exits bus with cop, cop demands bribe, bribe payed, bus driver enters bus, music turned up, bus contiues on journey
And the jam is pumpin'.....
