... [more]Hey everyone, I have not written for awhile and Im sorry and Im afraid I dont have time to update my blog now, but I wanted to just write a little something to let you know Im still alive and kicking. Im in Honduras right now and this morning in a few minutes Im taking a boat out to the island of Utila to get my scuba certification and do some diving. I dont think the island has internet, or atleast nothing that is at all affordable, so I will be out of touch for the next week. But then when I get back I will let you all know what has been going on!
hasta luego,
Tess
This blog is a work in progress, so I'm going to write more later, but I thought in the meantime you might enjoy these pictures!
AAAAAAH! Time keeps passing and Iīm behind once again in my blog. I donīt think I will really write much for this one, sorry. Utila was great and I am now a certified scuba diver, yeah!!!! Some how 10 days passed and I was still on the island (the longest I think I have stayed anywhere)
and I started to get antsy... so off I went again.
Final preparation before going downYou can kind of see me in the middle concentrating really hard trying to walk over to the edge of the boat with all of my gear and my fins on-- it's not easy.
It's all goodGeorge is a great guy and an awesome scuba instructor... I had a lot of fun in his class

The main street of UtilaThe main part of town is not that big, and really just has one main steet, so I walk up and down it all the time.
The dive shop pierFaith and I had a lot of fun running and jumping off the top whenever we finished our dives
My favorite internet spotIt wasn't too expensive and I could sit there with the ocean breeze blowing in my hair. I thought you might like to see where I was sitting while I was typing this-- so I just took this picture.
Hanging out on the porchI stayed at an awesome hotel with lots of really nice people and we would often sit around and chill on our porch... especially when it was pouring rain outside.
The rain is out of control!!!The beginning of the week was nice, but recently the rain has been so intense that you can't really do anything (which is why my blog is finally updated). It falls in sheets so thick within minutes

Our tiny kitchenEvery night we cook up dinner in the little kitchen at our hotel. It's a welcome change from eating out all the time, and the porch provides a nice environment for sharing a meal together.
Chillin out at nightThere was a great group of people staying at the hotel... a couple from Canada, a group of 3 from Austria, a guy from Belgium, a couple from Israel, and then my group-- me, Erwin, and Celestino-- I wa
