Holidaying in Honduras

Hello
Time for a holiday.

After months on the road.. without a break!! We were very tired.. so
we decided to have 2 weeks in the Caribbean to relax. So we went straight to Roatan in The Bay Islands in Northern Honduras.. they are very beautiful... Just as you imagine a Carribean Island to be.

It is an amazing place to dive too..I became totally addicted to it.. everytime I came back from a dive I would sign up for the next..
I am sooo lucky that my first dive in 6 years, what did I see? a shark!! the second dive.. I saw a turtle.. also saw toad fish, eels, lobsters, crabs, and millions of fish.. After a few dives I decided that I an open water diver wasnt enough I wanted to go on night dives and deep dives.. So I became an advanced diver. I did the 3 day course.. It was brilliant.. I got to go on some real adventures.. we did a deep wreck dive, my buddy Sarah & I, both got nitrogen narcosis at 30m it was hilarious, suddenly you feel a drunk, but then it goes the second you reduce to 20m.

I also did a night dive... which was an amazing experience .. I thought I would be frightened of going into water that looks like ink.. but actually it was my best ever dive.. we got to see soo much - eels, crazy bioilluminesence, Itfelt even more like a whole different world in the dark. I didnt want to finish the dive.. but when we came back up as I was admiring how amazing the jelly fish looked.. they all began to sting us!

I also did an underwater photography course.. here are some of my pics.
While I was diving Lo was doing some cool stuff too, cycling, windsurfing.. chilling.

We also did lots of partying with the locals and with friends from our apartment & the dive shop. It was lots of fun. But with all the diving/partying we have left the island more tired than before the holiday!
We have only a few more weeks on the road before our next holiday, so Im sure we´ll be fine.
