So yes its been a while, but I had written a great entry and then the internet went out without the website saving my entry, and then i got lazy :D
so here now are the missing entries, but properly dated (well somewhat properly)

I mentioned my noisemaker because I was so excited to have it, and I used it all the time, and then on the second day of having it, I dropped it.... it happened as I was getting back on the boat, it somehow came unhooked from my BCD, and i was restrained from jumping right in to swim down after it... So I made us go back to the site every day, and I would do a search and rescue (I refused to admit it is was a search and recover) at the mooring, but even I have to now give it up to the sea God...

Friday was Jason's last day on the island. He had to come into the shop to finish up some paperwork, and realized that his flight was actually earlier than he had thought. So Brian let me take the landrover and drive him back to the house to get

his stuff and then to the airport. That car makes Indiana Jones cars look like Mercedes Benzs... talk about no power steering! I was white knuckled the first half of the drive, to which Jason commented that the look of absolute terror in the drivers face did not do much to make the passenger feel safe

We got back to the house, after Indy'ing it all the way on the dirt track... that was fun! We drove the landrover in third gear as fast as we could over all the bumps and ditches, in true Indy style (we've come to the realization that part of the reason the company cars are in such shit condition is probably because the interns drive the cars crazy since we figure they are already in such bad condition we couldnt possibly make it worse... its like a catch 22) anyways, he got his stuff together and then we were like ok now what... we still have two hours before we need to go to the airport, so we went for a walk down to the beach...

The previous weekend, Lance had left, and spent his last day with Alice, who told us all week long of the magical day she had had with him, while he had her take pictures of him doing his workout and showering with the hose on the back porch. So Jason and I decided that we should try to recreate that day, in honor of Lance. So Jason did his sit-ups and chin-ups, his push-ups and his showering, and the entire time it was so hard to take a good picture because we couldn't stop cracking up

The we decided to go to Jenny's for lunch. Jenny's is a small restaurant/bar down the road from us, that I sometimes feel we keep running! Its a lot of fun, one of those great places where they know your name and what you drink and the moment you walk in the door they have you drink ready and are asking you how you're doing. So we had a lovely lunch, then walked outside to look at the bench Michel (an intern) had crushed the night before when he drove us all home... t5he bench was demolished.

Finally it was time to go to the airport, but that Friday night was the IDC pro diver party at Oasis

to celebrate the end of the instructor exam. Since one of the IDC kids was leaving the next day, we decided to continue the last day ritual and got photos of her doing her sit-ups and push-ups as well

we have too much time on our hands
