Return Trip to Haiti!!

That's right, I leave in 5 days! I am so excited to get back to the Mission Haiti orphanage and all the people of Ti-Rivier. This trip will be different then the other trips I have been on. The two other times that I have gone, they have been medical trips. I don't have a medical professional so while it was a great experience, I didn't feel like I was being used to my highest potential. This trip, Mission Haiti will be partnering with Youth With A Mission Minneapolis. There is a youth group from Seattle, WA going through YWAM Mpls Mission Adventure summer program. Mission Adventures takes short term trips for about a week to two weeks. We are belssed to be partnering with them to serve the people in Haiti. We will be doing Vacation Bible Schools, prayers walks, games with the kids, mountain home visits, a work project, and a prayer and worship time almost everyday. Pam (the founder of Mission Haiti) and I will be the behind the scenes leaders while Megan, a staff from YWAM Mpls will be the main leader for the team going down that week. I am so excited I can hardly keep it in. Pam will be staying a week longer and when she comes back, she will be bringing with a teenager named Andi Gedna. When he was a toddler, a kerosene lamp fell on his bed and started him on fire. It also caused his left foot to be very deformed. Praise God for answering our prayers to get him surgery in the states! I have met him and he has a great heart so please pray for him as he comes to the states to have this procedure done. While I am there I am not sure if I will be able to write updates as it always depends if we have electricity or not. I will of course write an update as always giving glory to God for all the things he did while we were there.

Prayer Requests:
1. Safe travel to and from Haiti as well as to the orphanage.
2. Basic health protection for all of the team.
3. Open hearts and eyes for all of us to what God wants to teach us and how he wants to use us.
4. Healing for Andi Gedna with the surgury.
5. That I would continue to learn Creole.
6. Strong spiritual protection from the enemy.
7. That I would be able to continue the relationships I started there.
