lyndsey We happened to pass through Flores several times. From what i gathered it's mostly an island specifically geared towards tourism, but we had fun there. There was a nice bar right on the water that we would frequent for sunsets, and often we'd go for an evening dip in the lake. (sort of gave me unwanted dreadlocks and itchy skin, but at the time it was pleasant.)

I don't really have much else to say for it other than it was a jump off point....although we did have a nice rooftop gathering one night with people from all over the world. That was fun. Oh yeah, there was always random pieces of ash falling from the sky from slash and burn farming that was happening in the area...so that was weird.
