So. We made it. Thank god.

We finally got our bags last night at 8:30 and got right into a cab to Antigua. What a night! We had a great new years, walking around, beers in hand, talking to different people and watching random fireworks go off here and there. Pretty great.
Its beautiful here...cobble stone streets, colourful buildings, beautiful churches...wow.

We didnt get to stay in the hostel we wanted to - the black cat - but were staying in a nice quiet family runned place not far from all the action so were getting a good nights sleep.

We had breakfast at the black cat hostel this morning and ran into some people we were hanging out with last night. Now we´ve just been walking around all day just sight seeing, taking it all in. Its breathtaking here. The mountains, the architecture...wow. I cant get over it. Might have to move here Mom...haha.

Everything is sooo cheap. We bought 8 beers last night for 10$. I bought a really nice sweater and scarf (already spending...I know) for like 18$.

We´re leaving for San Pedro on Lago de Atitlan tomorrow at 2pm. Going to spend a few days there walking around and then make our way up to Laquin where I´d like to spend my birthday.

Hope everyone had a great new years 😊

Love Ash.
