Ernas last day

The three of us befor Erna left for home.
After finishing at the Orphanage we decided the only way to say goodbye to Guatemala was to go back to our favourite place Antigua. Jill one of the other volunteers came with us and introduced us to the cheapest hostel in Antigua The Posada Ruis 2, Small but comfortable double rooms arranged arround a courtyard, very secure and quiet and only a stones through away from all the good things Antigua has to offer.
The 4 days consisted of walking round the town again, eating in our favourite places, visiting our spanish teachers and host family, (Our spanish has improved and our accents are much better) and lots and lots of internet, at 50 pence an hour it was good to catch up again.
While we were there we met up again with Erna, its wierd to think that we started here 5.5 months ago with Erna. She is now at the end of her travels and we are only 1/3 of the way through... 5 1/2 months seemed such a long tinme back then.
Whilst in Antigua Volcan Fuego, which overlooks Antigua, started to erupt. We weren't close enough to be in any danger but we got a spectacular view of the eruption!
Our 4 days in Antigua went too quickly. We could have spent so much time there but we had to get back to Rio Dulce to head off to the Bay Islands with our friends.
