Tikal and Antigua

We spent away from school to see some of the famous sights of Gautemala. A few days in Tikal seeing Mayan ruins and Spanish Colonial Architecture and a live volcano, Pacaya in Antigua.

Tikal was used in the late seventies for the filming of the Rebel Base at the end of Star Wars.

We enjoyed the amenities at Tikal Inn after climbing ruins all day.
