April 3rd

April 3rd, Casa De Campo, 6:19pm
I was awake at 5:45am this morning as my damn shoe rack fell over again, anybody want to buy a used shoe rack? I was up si I figured I would watch return of the jedi, what a great movie!
I grabbed my sticks and headed to the office at 8am to get the cart sheets ready for the day. I thought we were going to be late this morning because of how rough it was last night, but was surprised when I looked out the window to see we were going to be about 10 minutes early.
My group of 21 was ready to go at 8:55am so we went downstairs and Tal let us off early at 8:58am. For once we were on the bus and off and running by 9am. When we got to the golf course, Ernesto was there and we finally had all the rentals straight without making trips down to the Teeth.
The groups got away on time and Ed and I brought up the rear with Anthony and Andre, a father and son from Miami. The storm clouds started to roll in three holes in and then the skis opened up like crazey and we got drenched! I did manage to hit one of the best three woods of my life on 3, 208 yard par 3. I hit a high draw into a driving wind and a downpour that landed about 10 feet from the hole, I didn’t make the putt though.
The rains stopped about 15 minutes later and we got dried out. I played really good on the front and went out in 36 including a birdie on 8, a short par 4 where I hit my drive just left of the green and managed to get it up and down for birdie.
The rains came again on 10 for about 20 minutes and we got soaked again! It took a little longer to get dried out this time. In spite all of the rain people seemed to be having a good time.
The pace was very good today because of the rain, no one likes to stand around and chat when it is pouring rain! All in all int was a pretty good day and we got back to the ship by 3:30pm.
The desk tonight was quiet and I got all the paperwork done for tomorrow morning in Labadee.
I also had a moment to run down and see Jerry for my flight details next week. I overnight in Miami because they could not get me on a plane until Monday morning, so I get to see Miami for a few hours. I fly out of Miami at 7am on Monday the 14th and arrive in Vancouver at 1:00pm local time, cant wait to see everybody!
