Weekend came and went in los Quemados: Photos 21 to 42

The weekend 
After work on Friday Keith and I had plans to go out, but as Marshall had decided for us to go on an excursion the next day we decided to leave it for Saturday in stead, but we did end up sharing a bottle of wine by the stream anyway ;) Keith is just so great; he is so easy to become fond of and to become friends with. He is so tolerant, laid back, kind, and funny. We staid up until midnight talking before heading off to our rooms.
Laying i8n bed that night the thought of my room feeling homely and cozy suddenly struck me. It is amazing what you can get used to in terms of comfort, necessity, and standard. After a few weeks in this country my expectations are lowered, and I find it a lot easier to be happy with the simple standard here. It is all in fact about a state of mind. I think us Europeans are a little spoilt when it comes to comfort, and we forget that the simple things in life can be good as well.
Saturday I got up early, like I do everyday here. I go

Veldig fine bilder, så kjekt å se hvordan du har det! Ja øl ja, det tror jeg ikke jeg har sett deg drikke før. Det er utrolig hva en har her hjemme og, som man egentlig ikke trenger. Alle har godt av å leve litt primitivt inn i mellom. Har fått en ide om hvor jeg kan sende tanteungene mine, he he..:9 Ellers er det meste bra her hjemme også:) Klem:)

I`m impressed I must say- spiders, cold water and washing clothes in the sink?! Good on you ;) Love to read your note as they are wery describing and funny-maybe we should write that book of ours? ;) Laughed a few times but think you should have let me know you had had your 40th already! - Hahaha! LOL ! That was just the best for a while :) Keep on enjoying yourself-this was the right thing to do-no doubt about it :) Love you lots you know- Take care ok ! T&T xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
