Dominica was surprisingly enjoyable. Alexis, one of the PAYS organisation officials looked after us well, taking us up the Indian River and introducing us to Kenji who took us on a tour of the Island.

We've been told repeatedly that if Christopher Columbus was to return to the Caribbean today, Dominica is the only island that he would recognise. The whole atmosphere of the place was very positive and we felt very settled very quickly here, staying much longer than the couple of days we thought we would.
