Cow Milking
So I milked a cow this morning..... lol
Today has been another active day. This morning we had an hour hike to the San Luis waterfall. The waterfall was beautiful, and the biggest I had ever seen. So big I couldn't get the entire thing in one picture ev en from a distance. At the waterfall we went for a swim & jumped off this rocky area into the water. it was a lot of fun, but the water was so freaking cold it was like swimming in ice or soemthing. Reminded me of when I was in Cross Coun try in high school and we stuck our feet in an "ice bath" after runn ing. It was pretty much like swimming in that.
When we got back from the waterfall we ate lunch then left on another hike to a nearby local coffee plantation where we learned how they make and grow coffee. I bought 2 bags of coffee for $7 each after one of the locals invited us into her home to have some of the coffee she made there. THe coffee was wonderful and extremly rich. Probably the best coffee i've ever had. now we are back at our room and I am getting caught up on my journal. In an hour our Kinesiology professor is going to show us how to start a fire with only a bunch of dry branches. Then we will have dinner and have a short Biology class after (at-least I sort of hope it's short since we've done a lot of hiking today). After class we may have an optional night hike or something and then go to sleep. Tomorrow will be another busy day and probably one of my favorite. Tomorrow we will be going on some really good & long zip lines and then later we will go shopping in a small town called "Santa Elana". . . No idea how to spell that, but anyways, see you tomorrow :P.. Going to be a lot of fun, really looking forward to it.
