Goodbye to Quepos.....again

Chris and NikkiOur last weekend in Quepos (before heading to Panama) the family took everyone up to a waterfall for lunch. It was a bumpy drive to get there, but very fun. Climbing around rivers, jumping off rocks into waterfalls...Nikki even ate tuna!
For Easter we bought some markers and paint to make Easter eggs with the family, and that night we (and Jamie) took the whole family out to say thank you for their hospitality.
Here are a couple pics from the weekend.

This waterfall wasn't as far up the river. It was definitely higher, but easier to jump from and the water was at least 5 meters deep.

We thought it was be entertaining to show our Tico family some American Easter traditions. They probably thought we were a bit loco, but we all had fun.

We didn't hide the eggs, but Jamie bought some candy to hide instead.
Ronny
Jamie, Nikki and I decided to take the family out for dinner since they had taken such good care of us for so long. They said their favorite restaurant was Ronny's Place, and for good reason. EXCELL... [more]

The last week we'd gotten in the habit of playing a few games before bed. Jamie got us into Yahtzee, and Liesel and Isa taught us a card game called "Escalator".
