Callista at SchoolCallista at School
Callista at School

The Bilingual College of San Ramon
Buenos Dias and Happy Valentines Day!

This is a short blog I´m writing on the spot to get more pics posted for you.

Callista´s first day of school was exhausting for her and it was only a half day. She´s going to have a tough time this year. She will need to learn spanish to communicate in classes as well as learn second year French. Zachary, she could really use your help now! It´ll be tough but I have faith in her. I know I would never be able to study at her school. Once you see the pics of the view you'll understand. WOW, what wonderful scenery!

Our rental house, as you can see has a multi-colored interior. It´s taken a little getting used to but we don´t really notice it now at all. No closets or panty, we´re adjusting to that as well. Tomorrow we head to the city too buy some shelving units. That should fix our storage issues.

Gotta run now as Bill just showed up at the internet cafe with Callista. Hmmmmmmmm it´s still an hour before school gets out. Hope everything went ok today.

Sounds Great!
Hello Just Jen and family -- we're another family in Costa Rica from the US (you commented on our blog before you left). Glad to hear everything is going well -- Pura Vida! We recommend Instant Messenger or Skype for communicating -- even with dial-up internet service, voice conversations are ok. Also, look for a call back service to call the states -- much cheaper.

Hi
The pictures are great. Callista's bed turn out nice. The lack of closet/shelving is the same in Germany. You have to buy "shranks" (that is what they call closets). How are your neighbors? Maura
