Well we did make it back to San Juan in one piece after our flight over Puerto Rico, it was absolutely spectacular, lots of canyons and lakes around the island, we wondered what sort of pilot we were going to get but had a lovely Californian guy Justin who has moved to live in San Juan for a while with his wife who has her intern as an optometrist there.

Boarded our ship at around 3.30p.m., which was hassle free and because we had booked suites on the ship we were given priority boarding, all went very smoothly. Our Suite is a great size with a lounge area and balcony, The Summit has just been refurbished so it is decorated very tastefully. Being in a suite both Blake and Suzi and John and I were given a complimentary dinner in a specialty restaurant for the first night, Normandie, it was fabulous, ATE FAR TOO MUCH!! Lobster cooked with cognac, lobster bisque and chocolate soufflé. Had a call from Captains Club to invite us to dine on captain ‘s table tomorrow night. Didn’t sail until approximately 10p.m. to St Croix, US Virgin Islands

SUNDAY 22.4.10212

Awoke to announcement we had docked in St Croix – the waters here are stunning, very bright blue. After a VERY light breaky - headed off to explore the island – like a lot these places there are the very very rich and the very poor. Where the ship is docked is very poor and over the other side there are the multi million dollar mansions, condos etc. Very sleepy little place, but had a good few hour walk around to try and shed some of the food. Blake awoke about lunch time after spending a lot of the night in the casino!! I guess he is waiting for another jackpot, after winning $10,000 on this ship last November. Afternoon tea served in our suite and we set sail at 5.15p.m. for Basseterre, St Kitts.
