Awesome Post!! Nothing brings us closer to another country than pictures. It irritates me when people post just 3 pictures, so thanks for all the shots! It looks like you are bringing some old fashioned winter backcountry skiing to Patagonia, the locals must respect that. So nice to see Chile in winter. Its like New Zealand and Australia too- few travellers go there during our summer because who would want to trade summer for another winter? Thankfully you did and made a post about it! Look forward to many more. S

My mother was born in Yanama 69 years ago. I was born in Lima, both when i was a child i used to to go to Yanama. Yanama is a nice place if you love natural landscape, people is very friendly, specially with tourits. now a days i am 35 years old, and its 7 years since my last visit to Yanama.

Sweetness...all that heavy pack carrying and beer bottle lifting can get tough after awhile. You should've gotten a massage after the sweat lodge experience. BTW - Josh Ritter is great. cheers from the older woman...
