The border is not really the wall Have a better look next time. The wall divides Palestinian land from Palestinian land, with the main aim of expropritating the land of those who live in its proximity. Like you can see, Palestine is not yet free.
Gobble gobble Beautiful pictures Ming - keep honing that technique!
I experienced a similar Turkish Bath with half massage/half WWF wrestling match in Budapest. Glad you came out OK on the other side!
Hi Ming - I hope you are doing well! Every time I read your blog, I think about how I could never write such great descriptions of my own past travels... but then again, mine tend to center more on drinking margaritas or maybe getting some windburn on the ski slopes, so there probably isn't so much to write about. :) We miss you in SF!
Robert A. Heinlein? I thought for a second that you were being raised by Martians. I love Kebabs, so I fully support your diplomatic effort in bringing more of them to China by educating the ignorant natives in Turkey about the differences between your superior race and the Koreans, Japanese, Filipinos, Aztecs and Monks. I will continue your efforts here in San Francisco, though I have trouble distinguishing between Shiatsus and Yorkis.
word up! Ming, love the image of tearing down and building up again. Feel like I'm about to do the same thing with my own travels. Best of luck buddy! Keep the metaphors flowin'!
Change often helps us reasses our lives and move forward in a positive way. People can stagnate if they stay in only one place and only surround themselves with experiences that are familiar and comfortable. I envy your opportunities right now, Ming, and I look forward to hearing about you making the most of them. Good luck.
Everyone has a travel bug, and most of the time it lays dormant. Mine was fully grown after the first round the world two years ago. Now it's hungry. A serious dose of roaming foreign lands is needed. 9 countries in 75 days (The World Trip Map). Looking forward to the trek.
