Niarchos yacht Win-
back in the late 50s early 60s Stavros Niarchos had the most beautiful schooner - the Ariadne - that used to grace the SW ports of UK (Dartmouth etc) for a few summers - perhaps in association with the early Tall Ships races?- I still remember vividly sailing in a v. small dinghy around its 100 or so feet of gleaming varnish and brass..
aftre mild winter Canberra has turned on some winter chill for us this month- but the Prunus blossom is still starting 2-3 week early-lukim yu

Vashti's thoughts I am sitting in my lounge dreaming of Greece!! I think the children might like it there...all that sun, yummy food, donkeys! My Cypriot friend Desi says it is a great place form kids because the Greeks love children and are indulgent of them. I am feeling very inspired!!
