| 28th July 2009 weena | - From: Inca Trail hi jay, we went with peru treks. they were really good. highly recommend them, but you have to book well (months maybe) in advance. think it was roughly US$500, give or take. we didn't take too much - just sleeping bag and change of clothes. they carry your tent for you, and you can hire a porter to carry your bag if you want, or just carry it yourself. had plenty of water, they provide it, and massive amounts of food. a few people stayed on the next day, but mainly just hanging around aguas caliente (the town), rather than climbing WP. apparently if you try and ask around 10.30/11ish (after you've done the trek) you can climb it, because not everyone uses their tickets. that's about it. brigid |

It's like watching one tv show and then watching the spin off. Two stories from different perspectives, it's really quite interesting.
