hi jay, we went with peru treks. they were really good. highly recommend them, but you have to book well (months maybe) in advance. think it was roughly US$500, give or take. we didn't take too much - just sleeping bag and change of clothes. they carry your tent for you, and you can hire a porter to carry your bag if you want, or just carry it yourself. had plenty of water, they provide it, and massive amounts of food. a few people stayed on the next day, but mainly just hanging around aguas caliente (the town), rather than climbing WP. apparently if you try and ask around 10.30/11ish (after you've done the trek) you can climb it, because not everyone uses their tickets. that's about it. brigid

Love the Kids! - From: The Kiddlywinks...
Soory it has been such a long time but I've finally finished reports. I feel human again. "Human" is something that you didn't resemble with your Satan Eye. Pete thinks you two had a punch up and not sick eyes. It was really yucky. The kids look as if they would kep you on your toes. It was a littel difficult working out you in the group. Silly Sam is on camp. I say "silly" because he is the only one who could go on camp and leave his "beeping slag" and towel at home. Me thinks he thinks he is at some fancy holiday resort. He did take a pillow. That may have more to do with waking up with bed hair than comfort. It is alsmost hols and I'm looking forward to it. I promise pics of the house and news when that happens. Cheers! Love Medusa XXXX

I've heard from your sister that you've been looking like catwoman for the last week due to a bad case of conjunctivitis. Maybe you can enter the Miss Titanic competition and 'do your catwalk'! Could you pass a message on to Danni and Claire who don't keep in touch with me any more(sob! sob!). What's good for dogs - From: Link to K's blog
Hi Brigid, I have been following the two blogs for some time now only now posting a comment on yours. It's like watching one tv show and then watching the spin off. Two stories from different perspectives, it's really quite interesting. Perhaps the exposure to so many children will result in you have a family of 10 kids yourself. A big task for a small person(no offense) but nevertheless you are catholic! Anyway all I really wanted to say was if you didn't already know chocoloate is bad for dogs so make sure you keep Klein at bay. Cheers, Craig PS Say hi to KH:-)

Important rules for first time pet owners... - From: “What’s the matter with men today?â€/Your mum’s a…
Dogs and chocolate don't mix. (Good way to kill a dog if need be though). I am still scouring google to see what I can find that kills Nocholas'. Will let you know. Justin.

Big Boobs - From: 'What about the boy? He might be hungry...'
How can they think you are a 10 year old boy. After your 21st my boys often describe you as the little girls with big boobs. Sam is still shocked he never noticed. He does now. Do they think you are a 10 year old boy with man boobs? Weird! I had PTS interviews last night and Jo and Conor came. It was strange. Not as strange as Sam's squeeze and her parents though. She too is a similiar shape to you. Maybe she is your replacement. Not that he ever kissed you. Or did he? Sorry. Was that a tad inappropriate? Sorry. It would be amusing to watch you swim in circles as you struggle from shore to shore. Maybe it could be a local fund raiser. Buy for now Oh girly boy with the beautiful eyes. Mellesa

maybe the word 'smart' got mixed up with the word 'weenie' - From: You are very smart...
Hey dogger well since you left we have continued with our losing streak, and people all over the state are asking, where is your 'all star centre'? We are going to warnambool tomorrow, hopefully someone will continue with the tradition of picking up local boys that you have left behind! Keep the stories coming, they are very amusing. Miss you heaps! Claire xoxo

Pigmy girl - From: You are very smart...
Why can't you tell then that you are indeed very old but simply an albino pigmy? If you are running with the locals will it not be very fast and very far? They are the best and middle and long distance. I like the idea of simply naming children the same. As a teacher it would make my life easier. In fact I do try to call Connor, Bridget as much as possible but she doesn't seem to like it. No goss from me 'cept our reno is about to start, yeah you've heard that before. We moved house and were robbed all in the one week. ANd we were worried Kenya would be unsafe! Have a beer for us. Love, Mellesa & Co

Nice work on the blogs - From: You are very smart...
Keep them coming Brigid. Although I am getting both sides of most stories, it is interesting to see that you could infact be funnier than Katherine. (Notice I said "could" just to keep things neutral) I hope you are having a great time. Justin.

the anzacs are the shizzle, my nizzle. perhaps we might have a day off this week in their honour...not that i need it, considering all i do is run round with the kiddies all day. i was so delighted you came to the airport...it made my day. i can't believe you won netball without me. i feel so unneeded (or perhaps unnecessary is the word? or maybe useless?). although i bet no one trash-talks like i do! vince been dancing on any podiums lately? peace.

hello - From: Jambo Rafiki
are you saying i'm not good looking?? so offended. i may not look african, but i look very angelic, don't i? well they don't seem to wear beads over here, but i'll see what i can do with the rest. i assume if you've moved house that the building has started. how's it going? also what happened with burglary? i know about sam's 'girly friend', if it's still gen..although he's a bit of a ladies man so it could be someone new! tell him i am missing him terribly. :)

Just ridiculous - From: Jambo Rafiki
It is so nice to see that you are well and happy. I think you are simply ridiculously silly rather than anything else. We have moved house, been burgled and Sam has a girly friend all in the last little while. You don't look very African from your picture. I do expect national dress and beaded hair in the next one. Stay out of the sun! Love Mellesa and the Heatleys. XXX
