go north
actually to the north east corner of kohphagnan to a beach call tong nai pan yai. On the road towards the northern beach (tong nai pang noi) there is a road laeding inshore to a bar called the fat bhudda, a little way up this road (just past the locals karaoke bar) you'll find Dr Hotdogs, (usually run by mrs hotdog) really top quality hotdogs, next door is a burger bar run by a thai chap who learnt how to make burgers in new york. This is the only place in thailand where I found western food that was any good and these were really good. You can sit outside on cushions and listen to the frongs

Glad to hear you enjoyed Bangkok and its many Buddahs. I was up at your Dads last week, gave Mr Marmalade a cuddle for you. Jay says theres something in the top left hand corner in Chang Mai that is worth checking out, although mr cryptic cant remember any more than that so hes not much use as a tour guide. I'd recommend Doi Suthep (or something like that) temple, you have to walk up about 300 steps but the views over the city at the top are worth it. Have fun in Chang Mai. X

Hi
I've actually been for these parties a lot of times and they are called the 'Silent Night' parties. I infact love them bcoz you can take off your headphones and enjoy the peace and quiet too. Hope you had fun!

Well that's just typical of my brother..takes after his Da! lol Shame about the rain though. Well the bed situation seems to be the same everywhere accompanied by very hard pillows too! I'm staying in a place called Colva now, heading down south in a a couple of days, I'm getting bored here to be honest. Was thinking about doing a boat trip to see the dolphins until I was told that they're not Dolphins but Porpoises(sp?) May go anyway just to pass some time! Hope you are all well..be sure to check in on Marmalade and give him loads of cuddles ! Lx

Glad to hear you arrived safely Lise, hope you enjoyed the Karaoke, one word of advice, when your chosing somewhere to stay ask to see the room first, that way you can find out how hard the bed is :) Jay and I are just back from Malaga, it rained the whole time we were there and many parts of the city smelled of wee but despite that we managed to make our own entertainment (usually sitting indoors eating crepes) except for Tuesday, when Jay made me walk up a mountainside in the rain! X

Read through some of your blogs (specially about Goa) - nice should i say...and glad should i say because you enjoyed your stay in goa....i've been there last year and simply in love with the place...will be travelling again later this year :) waiting for some pics you may upload here?!? till then...cheers! and happy travelling :) Mike
