It seems that when you travel, you are trying to look for yourself. And I can say that I've found myself, my 'true' self, here in Thailand. I have been traveling here in Asia for the past few years of my teenage life. When I was told that we were going to Thailand, back in March '08, I got really excited. I got to know myself here in Thailand, and I had so much fun. Even if most Thai people don't speak English, I didn't have a hard time looking for the places I needed to see. I guess the fact that the roads are mostly built for tourists and tourist information are made accessible via booths in almost every street in Bangkok, made it easier for me. I love this country because it offers you ... read more

Asia » Philippines » Camarines Sur » Naga City June 26th 2010

I, together with my family, went to Camarines Sur last Holy week. It was my first time to go there and I was very excited because I heard so much about this beautiful province in the Bicol Region. If you are the type of person who loves sports and adventure, then this is the perfect place for you. We stayed at the Villas in Villa del Rey Resort. It is part of the CAMSUR WATERSPORTS COMPLEX, owned by the government of Camarines Sur. It is advisable to take an overnight stay at Camsur and take a tour of Bicol. Wakeboarding, its main feature, is exciting but very exhausting. My advice for you is to just purchase an hour of knee boarding because it is very hard. Knee boarding should be done first for you to go ... read more

Asia » Philippines » Marinduque June 25th 2010

Bellarocca Island Resort Spa is one of the most luxurious resorts here in the Philippines. It is a Greek inspired resort which is similar to the houses in Santourini. One night would cost you about $400 to $5,000. The Resort is quite expensive for a normal Filipino but if you are the type of person who really wants to have privacy this is the perfect place for you. You can get here by plane, yacht or even helicopter. But Zest Air and Sea Air offers flights to Marinduque. I have been dying to to see this place for over a year. When I got a chance to read an article in a Travel Magazine, my cousins and I went decided to go here last may 2010. The food was great but they do not offer buffet ... read more

Asia » South Korea » Seoul » Itaewon June 25th 2010

It was the last week of Snow when my sister and mom went to Seoul, South Korea. It was my first time there and did not know what to expect but I really had fun in my 5 day trip to Seoul. We had a hard time in finding our hotel there because Koreans can't speak English. Some of the Natives were friendly but they cannot speak English. My advise for you is to print out a brochure of the name of your hotel in Korean so you will not have a hard to time in looking for it. We stayed at Hyundai Residence Seoul. It was a very cheap and affordable hotel and has a very nice location. We took a city tour of Seoul on our first day. The best way you can ... read more
