Thanks for the great write up - From: Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oy! Oy! Oy!
I was looking at images for Guy Sebastian and yours caught. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. Guy is a great speaker in his own right too, but he's quiet. He is the most non-judgmental human being I've met, besides being a talented musician / artist and is using his position as a pop superstar in Australia to assist in so many ways. But thanks again - and to the first comment - God is how and where you find him, and I think more personal than most believe. I agree that narrowness is not good, but then who is to say that it does not cover one facet of the prism that is reflecting that light. I say just breathe and look out the window. There is enough God just there - the rest, we can build on.

G'day! Just wanted to also say that I stumbled upon your blog by accident in a search engine...and here it is -- another Canadian who attended the Hillsong Conference this summer!! Amazing :) I didn't even know such a blog existed, and I would have gladly setted up an account on here instead of blogspot. LoL. Noticed that you are from Calgary. I'm from Vancouver! :) and I have to agree with you that Sydney is in fact a gorgeous city. Does remind of home, except that they have way more water running through the city! It's unfortunate you didn't do Bridgeclimb..because it's was breathtaking! It was quite a unique experience, and well worth my money (though I kind of have to say that if it was a bit cheaper...it would have been better!). Anyhow I think I've blabbed more than enough. You may come visit me at http://kerche.blogspot.com, though I don't really use it that often nowadays. You can leave a comment though! :) *God bless

Just back from Mulu - From: Exploring Mulu Caves
Your pictures bring a rush of excitement as I recall our recent trip to Mulu. The caves are absolutely amazing. The staff at the resort was very kind and helpful. A wonderful natural and cultural experience to treasure.

Penan - From: Exploring Mulu Caves
Nice pictures. But you got the tribe name incorrect. It is the Penan tribe, not Penang (which is the island off West Msia).

Singapore seperation from Malaysia - From: Singapore: Gem of S.E. Asia
When Singapore and Malaysia were together as one country, Singapore wanted changes that were deemed threating. One of which was to reduce the roles and responsibilities of the Sultanage. Hence, it was Malaysia who asked Singapore to leave the Federation. Mr Lee Kuan Yew wept as he spoke at a press conference which is captured on black-n-white t.v. It was his dream to have Malaysia as part and parcel of his vision of development and commerce in this part of the world. But alas it was not meant to be - Karma rules the day! :)

Enjoyed your Blog - From: Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oy! Oy! Oy!
Hi there - stumbled on your blog when searching for something entirely different. I live in Sydney and you made me feel like one proud Aussie reading your love for our City! I work in the City and when I nxt look at the Bridge and The Opera House, I will appreciate it that much more for your comments - as they familiarity breeds contempt! I too am a Christian and know lots of people who are into Hillsong - not really my thing as I think they are unfortunately basing their message on such a thin sliver of what God's Bible says. I use to play music with some of the folk who are involved in Hillsong (including Darlene) and some of them left me wondering what their faith was really in. Anyway, enjoy your travels and go with God!
