I know for a fact that you can go and hang out with those tigers in with the monks it is amazing it is a shame that you had such a crappy time there I loved every minute although I do agree with you in regards to the shopping it is exhausting.

Just back from Mulu
Your pictures bring a rush of excitement as I recall our recent trip to Mulu. The caves are absolutely amazing. The staff at the resort was very kind and helpful. A wonderful natural and cultural experience to treasure.

I'v been at the Singapore zoo twice and your Pics really bring it 2 life. Is that flower really fake? The White Tiger Pic is my favorite. (A liitle biased since the tiger is my favorite animal) Thank you for taking the time to post your Pictures and adventures for all the world too enjoy. Jim S :)

Nice pictures. But you got the tribe name incorrect. It is the Penan tribe, not Penang (which is the island off West Msia).

Wow Violet, your pictures are all so gorgeous! I love the all. It's always pleasant to see pple's vacation pictures, especially yours since they are so nicely taken! Right lighting, angle and everything! Beautiful! You are so lucky to have had the opportunity to go travel around like that! I'm happy for you. ^_^

Singapore seperation from Malaysia
When Singapore and Malaysia were together as one country, Singapore wanted changes that were deemed threating. One of which was to reduce the roles and responsibilities of the Sultanage. Hence, it was Malaysia who asked Singapore to leave the Federation. Mr Lee Kuan Yew wept as he spoke at a press conference which is captured on black-n-white t.v. It was his dream to have Malaysia as part and parcel of his vision of development and commerce in this part of the world. But alas it was not meant to be - Karma rules the day! :)
