It is about 4 times as wide as a Rapid and carries 400 people at a time and travels across the water very quickly. So we have managed

Whistler is 2 hours North of the City and is much colder being so high in the snow covered mountains . On Tuesday we were t

For some reason which shall remain a mystery we decided to dress alike today. We looked like we were on some team. If we were it would be the U. S. Shopping team and I know who would have taken the Gold and Silver. We had fun in and around Vancouver today. We visited Stanley Park and Capilano Suspension Bridge which is 230 Ft. Above the river and is 437 ft. long and only 4 ft wide. One of

Our Condo is 10 minutes from BC Place where the Opening Ceremony was held and just 10 minutes from the Olympic Cauldron which lights up the harbor. We are just 100 yards from the waterfront where you can board little tiny ferry boats that hold only 10 people to go over to Grandville Island. Vanco

Today was all about being wet and having to wait We took 3 buses and a train to get to Cypress Mountain for The Women's Freestyle Moguls. We waited outside in the rain for 2 hours to get the bus up to the mountain and it rained the entire time we were up there. As wonderful and well organized asThe Opening ceremony was today was just the opposite. There were many glitches with the transport

The luggage arrived just in time for us to leave for the Opening . We walked from our Condo to BC Place which was only about 15 minutes away. Along the way we saw a crowd gathering and without realizing it we ran right into the torch as it was being carried through the streets on its way to the opening ceremony. . . Talk about more luck than sense The ceremony was absolutely spectacular
