We have picked the route and realize that we are bound for highh altitude and cold weather. There are very few certainties. One we think for sure is that the two week estimation for time needed to complete this adventure is a bit unrealistic. Most locals think it will take over 5 days via motortaxi to get from Huancayo to Cuzco which we estimate is only about one fifth of our journey.
