What makes the headline news in Bangkok? 1. A principal resigns after killing 2 kittens on the school property in Indus, Minnesota. (Um, ok...and this made the news in Thailand???) 2. Sawadee-ka!! Ok, y'all, time has completely flown by the past five and a half days I have spent in Bangkok. My last blast, albeit a very short one and just to let y'all know I arrived safely, was during my layover in Singapore, before flying directly to Bangkok. I have a friend who lives here who has so graciously allowed me to stay with her during this transition period to South East Asia. Hey-ya! I have just arrived in Singapore....according to my watch, it is a few minutes after 9pm YOUR time (CALI), just under 24 hours since we parted ways at SFO. WOW! It was a long flight to Hong Kong, sitting next to an Indian grandfather and his wiggly 4 or 5 year old daughter. She kept wanting to play with my remote for the movie channels. I am in Singapore Airport for one hour, then jumping on another flight to BKK. Should be there by 2:40ish this afternoon, which of course it is now Wednesday.
