Boracay Asia » Philippines » Boracay
The Island of Boracay in the Philippines is the most popular tourist destination. I think, Boracay is the best Island if we travel back in the 70's. The good thing about visiting the Island is no matter how commercial it had become you can still make beautiful pictures at any given time of the day. [View Full Entry]

Siquijor Asia » Philippines » Visayas
The Island of Siquijor is a province of Visayas region in the Philippines. It was indeed a nice time visiting this part of the region. It feels like an adventure waiting to unfold. Being in an Island has this vibe of being isolated. Well, my trip has proven otherwise. First, we arrived there as a team and we are all excited and loud. The first thing we checked is not the accommodation, not the food, not the beach but a dive shop. We all share the same craving to go under the water. It turned out that their are plenty of [View Full Entry]

Bohol Asia » Philippines » Bohol » Panglao
The Island of Bohol, Philippines. Diving in Bohol is great. The water is calm, currents is not so heavy, plenty of fish, colorful reefs, visiblity is amazing and the temperature is just right. Start the day by scheduling the dive with a certified PADI dive shops and booked the entire day at least making 2-4 dives. Going around the Island by renting a motorbike is also fun. Going to the very famous hills, collectively called the Chocolate hills in Bohol or going around town looking for beautiful rivers and landscapes, finding the cultural heritage and historical landmarks or just exploring the [View Full Entry]

Palawan Asia » Philippines » Palawan » Puerto Princesa
The Island Province of the Philippines, Palawan. It never occurred to me that Palawan would be so beautiful. The Island just stretches for miles. The landscape is captivating and the ocean is unbelievably pristine. It's definitely worth a trip. The beach is amazing. The sky is so blue that it gives the entire area its glow. The marine life is so diverse and the surrounding emits a kind of unique solitude. This is how nature courted me to submission. [View Full Entry]

Gera  Europe » Germany » Thuringia
Gera is situated in the eastern part of Thueringia State on the river Elster with a population of more than a hundred thousand. In 1945, it was heavily bombed and destroyed a huge portion of the city's historical buildings. It was once part of the German Democratic Republic or East Germany until 1990. This city is very close to my heart. I often visited this place and pretty much enjoyed it. Although, Gera is the second biggest city in Thueringia State, it feels more like a small town and very much predictable. Its not so high driven, fast face city. You [View Full Entry]

What can I say? This is overrated. Paris is beautiful. Celebrating New year in Paris was so romantic. Gazing into the Eiffel Tower and waiting for the new year to come. Along comes the fireworks, the lights and the noise embracing 2008. The kisses, the greetings, the opening of champagne and the toast with all the best greeting exchanges for the new year. Their are many things to see in Paris. Its full of wonderful architecture and style that only Paris can pull. Paris feels more like an identity, a definition rather than a place. It has a unique expression of [View Full Entry]

What's with the entry title, Simply Singapore. It's a very small country. You can drive around the country for at least half a day and you can say you have seen it all. It never gets any simpler than that. My brief stay in Singapore constitutes roaming around the city and taking snapshots of almost all the places I went to. It was interesting indeed. Shopping seems to be a major hobby in the country, the food is delicious, their are high end taxi cabs like Mercedes-Benz, lots of places to buy something you need and to buy something you don't [View Full Entry]
