Sounds like fun! Thank you for sending the updated link so I could read everything. Sounds like you're having a great time. Love hearing about the treats you're enjoying. I hope you're collecting recipes! Can't wait to see more pictures. Love ya~ Judy
bad habits Mary and I were commenting on what a great summer we've been having until we read your blogs. We realize how pathetic our Gurnee existence really is and are living vicariously through you.
Please keep to the fine wine and cheese, avoiding: cigarettes, high fashion, and going topless upon your return. Only I can pull that one off disguised as a man!
Another swimsuit story Oh my! I've never seen Speedo's in a vending machine, but I did have to purchase a quite hideous swimsuit (black and white, frilly and very sparkly!) at a resort giftshop once because I forgot mine. Then later I was lucky enough to just happen to run into our CFO in the hot tub, 200 miles from home.
My Vote Glad no one got hurt and that Jeff's bum escaped unscathed. I don't often have to Google food related terms, but I wasn't about tarte tatin. Sounds absolutely yummy. I say Jeff's Vending Machine Speedo...if there's a story behind that, I've got to hear it!
chance to VOTE
SOME HOW I THINK "FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD" GETS MY VOTE. SORRY, JEFF. BUT I'M GLAD THAT THE BULL DIDN'T GET YOUR BUM. THEN YOU'D HAVE NO NEED FOR A SPEEDO. LOVE TO ALL. MOM
Fun,Fun Well, it does sound like a blast. Don't forget your momminess. A whole new world has opened up for your girls.
Tom called this morning, he'll be joining us tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing him.
I hope you leave some fun in Europe for Dad and I. Be careful, love to all ; Mom and Dad
We went to the Shedd aquarium couple days ago. Stood in line an hour and half. I was looking for the line "wine waiter" to no avail. I would have sucked from a nipple let alone a gas can. All turned out well, but somehow I feel like I'm slumming it compared to you. Poor Mary and I comment on how nice our summer has been so far and then you send us an e-mail and we realize just how pathetic our Gurnee existence really is! WE were cool once too! You are a superstar we will be living vicariously through for years to come! Just make sure you only come back with smelly breath and stories of naked men- no plastic surgery, cigarettes or going without a bra. Only I can pull that one off. Love and miss you all Lisa
Happy Birthday Tom Hi Linda - I am enjoying your blog. Too bad Tom had to go home on his birthday. It sounds like he is missing alot of interesting scenery at the Mediterranean Sea! Loved the last pictures so I am looking forward to the next ones. Take care and say hi to the girls and the Harpers for me and a happy birthday to Tom. Teresa
Happy Birthday Tom! I was hoping you would blog today, so we could say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tom, but he's now left you! Sounds like a very risque and wild vacation the Paukerts are having.
Enjoy some of that wine for me please!
Fun! I can't wait to talk to Julia about all the nudity. I figure Emma will be more reserved with her comments. We are at Noah's Ark, so sunbathers are covered. I just wish someone would tell designers not to make bikini's in size 18 or higher. Looking forward to your return.

Greetings! Thanks for all the wonderful updates. I'm jealous and so happy for you at the same time. It's sounds like your trip is everything you've dreamed about. We got back from a wonderful week at the lake, and jumped right into puppy craziness. Chase is adorable, but a full-time job. This is the first chance I've got to check your blog (he's napping - ha!). Keep the updates coming. Have fun, be safe....we miss you!
Best Family
Pictures Great pictures. Missed the blog about visiting the queen but now I have viewed the comments and picked it up. Sounds like a great trip. Thanks Lisa for commenting about the pictures. Hi to all the playgroup gals.
A few years ago Tom and I decided to take our daughters to Europe in 2010. We chose this this time because they would be ages 11 (Emma) and 9 (Julia). At the time it seemed so far away and even felt like it would never happen. Well here we are in 2010 and in 10 days we depart for Europe. It's a dream coming true. The whole vacation is actually happening because we have very close friends who live in England in a town called Marlow, Russell and Cindy Harper. The Harpers are very important people to us and Cindy, well, for those who know me know how close Cindy and I are. Russell and Cind... full info
