well... im waiting to here about beijing!!!
your blogs are good. and funny. and you remember a lot of things. i dont want to write any anymore. :( miss you!!
Toni, I am having fun trying to picture you towering over the Chinese tourists as you try to get them to stay behind you in a queue! I had another laugh about the spicy food ;-)
And the pagoda on the side of the mountain... what's a bit of wind after a few hundred years of being buffeted by wind? The Chinese must be architect geniuses!
I thought the 1st photo of the sunset from the Leifung Pagoda was a professional travel phots on the website! It's lovely! And thank you for such detailed descriptions. For all the readers of Toni's blog, below is a youtube link for the West Lake Music Fountain in Hangzhou. He's right, it is quite amazing, but it's best if you mute it to block out the chatter of the viewers.

Toni, That is a great photo! Is it from you last trip there? When you write about your adventures, please describe how you communicate...how many people you meet know English, or how you work around the language issues. I'm very curious about that!
