Hi Everyone, Its been a really long time since I've written an entry, sorry! We have had no luck finding convienient, cheap wifi connections here in Portugal. We are all fine, Ian and I are recovering from some kind cold/flu/chest infection. James is well, his hair has grown so much he looks like something from the seventies! Hola!!! Hope everyone is well back at home. We have been spending sometime on the coast (Costa Del Sol). Spent sometime in the mountains near Granada but the temp was droppng to 1/2 degrees at night. Bought a big quilt from Carrefour and some warm p.js for James then came down to coast and haven't used them! Temp rose to 25 deg in the day, not falling below 15 at night! Spent sometime looking at the Casa Ceuvos (cave houses) of Grananda. These houses are abundant in this region and quite fascinating. Hola from Spain! Hope all is well back at home. Here is our latest update! After leaving Italy we travelled very quickly through France and arrived on the South coast of Spain. Stopped over in Loret de Mar on the Costa Brava (like Blackpool) and then tried to stopover in Benidorm (James wanted some fish and chips!) unbelievably ALL the campsites were FULL! Full of Brits and Germans on longstays, eventually we found a place in between Benidorm and Alicante (we discovered why the sites fill up most offer 60% plus discounts of stays over 28 days.) Hi, Bonjourno! Well, yet again I have lapsed in by updating of the blog - fortunately we have found a site with free wifi and have positioned Konny within the "100 per cent signal" area. We can access the net from the comfort of the van with a glass of vino! (for a few nights at least!) hi, One last post before we leave the comfort of the apartment and head off in konny again, I will have to be dragged screaming away from the bath, I've had one a day since we've been here,sometimes 2, never been so clean. We have been attempting to get down to some schoolwork this week and have done ok I think. James has been very patient with me and thankfully he is pretty good at maths so he's just sort of got on with that subject himself. Bonjour! Sorry I have not posted for so long! Know I've said it before but finding it hard to find the old "Wi Fi" or "Wee Fee" as they pronounce it here! Hello, bonsoir!!! finally stopped for long enough to find internet access! Just a quick run down of what we have been up to and a few pics. Having trouble finding internet connections, apologies for lack of blog entries! 21st-30th August stayed in Lacour de Visa in Midi Pyranees with Deb, Kevin, Tom and Sam. Lazy days (and a couple of very hot ones - 36 degrees) 30th Aug - 2nd Sept stayed in a lovely "Campsite Municipal" in Condom (yes I know) - again lazy days, bike riding and enjoying less intense sunny days. 2nd - 3rd Sept -Lourdes. Hi Everyone, Just a quick entry - hopefully you will see some pictures too (if I've managed the technical bit). Well, we have been in Barmouth and Shell Island (the largest campsite in Europe!) for a few days testing "Konny". Everything seems to be working fine, two nights in Shell Island with no electric hook up (but right on the beach) and then a night in Barmouth with hook up - every electrical device cranked full on!
