The first night I arrived in London I was very sick :( Believe it or not I crashed at 330pm and did not wake up til about 11am the next day. So as you can imagine the first two days werent that great for me. The weather was actually alright. It had its moments where it would rain and get cold but otherwise I thought it was nice and sunny. I really miss Miami weather though.. infact I think I miss Miami all together. I've just arrived into London and cant check in to my room yet, thus I am at the internet cafe updating my blog. Internet is ALOT cheaper in London than it is in the states. Leaving South Beach was kinda sad. I stayed at the Jazz Hostel which I would totally recommend to everyone!! The staff there are so friendly and they hold heaps of events so you can mingle and meet pple. I spent most of my days lazing at the beach and doing some shopping and at night would be hanging out with other fellow travellers. I have never seen a beach so beautiful. Whenever Mikey and I are feeling hungry, we say.. "I'm soooo vancouverrrrr"! Why? Because every frikn shop and every frikn corner is either a restaurant, fast food place, hot dog stand or cafe.. AHHH AHHH!!! We were surrounded by food everywhere.. tempting us to go in and I swear I could even subtly hear the words "eat me.. eat me".. One of my gal pals were saying that I will come back stick thin because we wont have time to eat only because we will be rushing here n there to check out sights. HELL NO! all Mikey and I have been doing through out our trip is eating! IM SERIOUS. OMG.. where do I begin? Las Vegas has so far.. by far... has been the BEST place I have visited. I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!!!! It is amazing here. Its like I have stepped into a fantasy world filled with gigantic pyramids, magical castles, hotels and buildings adorned with bright lights of every colour from the rainbow. It is totally surreal. There are planes flying in and out of Vegas all the time, helicopters in the sky, hummers, limos and LIMOHUMMERS!!, big screens filled with alluring adverts for clubs, casinos, girls, BOYS and last but not least SHOPPING. I start with these 5 words - Oops! I did it again :( ... JUST KIDDDDDDDDING!!! I MADE IT - I'm finally in LA!!! *big smiles* THE FLIGHT I must say that the flight over to LA was not the best flight I've ever taken. As soon as I sat down, I was like WTF, why is there NO TV SCREEN infront of my seat. Must I really sit with nothing infront of me for 13 hours? SERIOUSLY? :( Flying out of Australia.. we experienced some really, like REALLY bad turbulence. It was really freaky! The whole plane was shaking and I even shook out of my seat a few times. At this very moment I should be wearing a grass skirt, participating in a luau (however you spell it), learning to surf, binging on coconuts while being surrounded by very hot, tanned, buffed Hawaiin men! BUT NO. I am currently enjoying the view of the Bristol Arms accompanied with the wonderful bright lights of.. Sydney traffic.
