Well, I'm back in Fayette-nam, obviously, and even though I've been working at it for a while, I just now finished loading the last of MY pictures from the trip. I capitalize "my" because I intend on putting up pictures that I stole from other people next because there were some things I missed (like Euro Disney) because I brought my video camera instead of digital. Today is the last day for our program. Everyone is going home tomorrow; I'm just moving to the Ramada. Yesterday, mom and Kay flew in. I surprised them and skipped class to meet them at the airport (well technically I went to the first 30 mins of my first class, so I mostly skipped). They were very tired but excited to be here. We got back into town and to their hotel. I know it hasn't been long at all and I haven't done much, but I wanted to post before mom and Kay got here because I didn't know how much free time I would have. Useful info: Mom and Kay get here tomorrow (thurs) in the am. I'm meeting them at the airport, but they don't know that. We will be here in Paris until Monday night when we fly out for Rome. My goal of seeing everything at this point is unattainable, but I'm still seeing lots, as evidenced by the 68 photos. So I did go on some more walks. I started Friday after my last post with one in the area around my hotel. Highlights of this walk are the first 10 pictures. I saw a bunch of churches and other random things. So, as most of you know, Sunday was my birthday. It was actually a hazy sometimes rainy day. I lazed out of bed finally and went to a park that I've been wanting to see. The weather stayed good enough while Brittany and I wandered around it, only sprinkling slightly. It was a cute little place. We started to explore the area, and it slowly began raining harder. The four weekers left this morning, so our little group was cut in half. It was quite sad. Here's a recap of this past week, or at least the late afternoons/evenings because in the morning and early afternoon I'm in class. Went to Musée Picasso Monday between Grammar and Conversation.
