This weekend we went to visit Pete and Pats older brother and his familie in Soldotna. One thing was obvious, we were going FISHING, woohoo, fishing heaven down there. When we went to get our licenses something funny happened, when my sister had filled out her papers and wanted to pay the lady just said "it's on the house and thank you for your service" because she is married to an army dude. :p was a really nice gesture. Living with an american family was quite funny to experience, and too see how things are. There i was, just got off in Anchorage, Alaska, i was really tired after 24 hours of travelling. I went to go through the passport control, no problems there. I took my passport and proceeded to get my bagage, when i heard a voice "Mr. Turner, would you please come this way?" hah! i was going to be interrogated. They wanted to know if i knew how severe a crime it was to smuggle stuff, if i was doing anything like that, apperently they seemed more conserned about smuggling birds then drugs. that bird flu is a serious thing over here.
