well, the last few days have been a whirlwind of cramming in tourist activities, catching up with friends and just chilling out. first things first...... mickey and jess' flat in sai kung: i am staying there at the moment, and the tranquility is great. nice to be able to just cook food in the tiny kitchen and read a book all day. mickey and i have spent many a lazy day there, sleeping and reading and noodling on guitar. it's been a nice break, although i have quite enjoyed my tour of hong kong's parks, with little one in hand. sai [View Full Entry]

maybe not every mountain.... today i found myself in hong kong park, wandering around trying to find a nice place to play some guitar. after sitting down a few times and becoming mozzie fodder, i decided that wasn't such a good idea, and checked out the aviary instead. mostly i saw bronzewing pigeons (though i guess they're not called that here), which was a bit boring, because you get them everywhere in perth, but there were lots of other birds as well, including some pelicans in a pond way below the platform you got to walk along. i felt a bit [View Full Entry]
