Hey Sarah!
So glad to see that you got there safely! You must be so excited! The people sound great already! So happy for you! Can't wait to hear how things are going! xo
Glad you arrived safely Sarah. Good luck with apartment hunting! Sounds like you've already established some positive relationships with your new co-workers. Keep in touch!
Glad you are there... Hi Sarah,
So glad you had a good flight and are finally there! Congrats on your new adventure. Can't wait to read about the school and your kiddies!
Good luck friend,
Erin :) xxoo
Have a terrific time... Your attitude has always gotten you through the difficult distractions when in Honduras. I too lived there for a time with my American family and know some of your issues. You will have such a great time with your new position in the new surroundings with your knowledge going into it this time. Plus you have Walter! Do well, be well, you will have so much fun. The kids are so lucky to have you as their teacher. Best of luck it goes pretty smoothly for you Sarah. Supportive family and friends go very far. Enjoy...Carol Lynn
All the best All the best for the next two years!!! Hope everything goes really good for you. Please keep in touch. Love you and I will be thinking of you and missing you.
Hey Sarah! I am so excited for your new adventure! Take care, be safe, be aware and most of all, rejoin your love and make a difference in those children's lives. :D I am sure it will be yet another experience to cherish. I look forward to more of your blogging! xox
Sarah...you certainly sound like you're ready to go! I hope you have an incredible year....I'll be thinking of you and will look forward to reading your blogs. Have a great trip and a fabulous reunion with Walter. If you decide to get married, make sure you come back to Ontario for the wedding.....your parents have always been incredible at throwing the best parties!! Of course that sounds selfish of me....hoping for a party!....what I really am hoping for is that you find the happiness you so richly deserve....I think you're a beautiful person both inside and out...Walter is smart not to let go of you....those young children you'll be teaching will soon know how lucky they are......good luck, God bless and keep on enjoying life Sarah....!!
Where are the Human Rights? I'm sorry - I just don't understand how people can be happy about a dictatorship.. Zeyla was elected by the people - there are people who are leftists and people who are not.. as in every country.. but if he was elected fairly.. democratically - as was Chavez - and I'm not sure if you remember the Referundum that Ven. had a few months back.. but "the people" are happy with him.. they voted him in... these "people" finally have a voice.. who gives someone else the right to come in and take that away from them - just because "they" aren't happy?
This is a clear violation of HUMAN RIGHTS.. which latin america in the past 20 years has slowly been regaining. This is a HUGE step back.. and one that should NOT be promoted, accepted, or permitted.
Sarah..I heard about Zelaya's attempt to land this morning. Of course, I've been thinking about you ever since the news first covered the presidential situation in Honduras. thank-you for keeping us up to date on your thoughts. How difficult this must be for you. Hopefully, some form of resolution will occur within the next three weeks. Thinking and praying for you, Walter and the people of Honduras......
I am so happy for you... and Walter of course. He must be so happy right now! I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks but I am sure that when I do see him, he will be grinning from ear to ear.
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! Way to go Sarah! I had a feeling that this would work out for you, but I am so glad that it is official! I am so proud of you! I know that you will do amazing and the school will love you! CONGRATS HUN! xo

Thanks a lot and have a nice year!!!
It started with a year teaching in Honduras. Then it was home to the COLD winter of Canada to try and pay off some debts, followed by sailing the seas with Norwegian Cruise Lines, working as a youth counsellor.
Next it was back to Honduras, teaching in a school in Tegucigalpa!
Now, I am home in Canada but continue traveling.
Thanks for joining me on my journey!
