I am an 18 year old student. Currently "re-educating" [upgrading high school courses] before heading off to higher education. I fell in love with travelling when i was 10 and in Disneyland...typical kid, eh? Since then I've stayed in Canada...in BC mostly. Detoured to Mexico for the first time in June 2005 and the urge to travel returned. Heading to Europe this summer to "find myself"...no laughing. At the very least, i'm hoping to work on my timing. I'm late for everything and it drives people nuts. I'm going by myself since all of my friends are poor students..definately NOT scared at all (yah right)

^^That was in 2006. Its 2008 and how things have changed! I'm now a travel agent, selling the dream (instead of living it) but I'm working on that second part! I am married (not to Chris--to Alex) and I have an 8 month old daughter named Audrey. Two years and a completely different life!

So in a three year span I went to Europe, fell in love (with Paris), learned a few phrases, came home, moved out, broke up, moved back home, fell in love (with my husband), got married, had a honeymoon baby, finished travel school and that pretty much brings you up to date!

At the end of January 2009 I went to Mazatlan for work, and from there we plan to conquer the world! Well, not really. We arent Pinky and the Brain or anything! But our goal is to be missionaries, so stay tuned for our next adventure....

When in France...STRIKE Europe » France » Île-de-France » Paris

So apparently in France its very fashionable to go on strike when its very inconvenient...the telecom workers are on strike, and apparently it means that french phones dont work. Just the pay phones.. you know... the ones i use. But i saved the day and i bought a super cheap french cell phone, call anytime 011-33-689603162 qnd i recieve text messages for free to. The Eiffel Tower if my date to every meal Europe » France » Île-de-France » Paris

so i had to move to a new apartment again. i packed all my thing, and it took two trips half way across the city (changing trains once each way), but i'm all settled. And the view. Its like a postcard. I can see the Eiffel Tower every time I'm in the kitchen, and if i'm in the second bedroom I can see that, plus the sacre coeur. and thats just the start. Thats right. 3 days of rain and 1 day of sun so far, but i am loving every second of the rain!! My apartment here is sooooo much better than that dump in Nice. Very secure...when people close the doors. But hey, you cant have everything. My roommate is a really sweet Polish girl named Martyna. Shes adorable. Let me just start off with...I TOTALLY SAW PRINCE WILLIAM! so i was walking away Buckingham Palace (i think...i couldnt quite tell through the hordes and hordes of tourists!) and i'm passing the war cabinets museum (boooorrring) when out of nowhere come like 30 bobbies on vespas, stopping traffic everywhere. Quick note: MOM I FRICKEN TRIED CALLING 4 TIMES YOU NEED TO BE HOME and yes i DID consider timezones! These are the shenanigans that fill my days until I FINALLY leave for Europe. (ps we're in a cab. drunk. we took like 20 pics like this. In about 10 minutes. We're cool like that)

Mmmmmk. I'm still here. But the good news is that i leave in 98 days! Ok. It's still a relatively long wait. But it's getting closer, so i'm ok with it. Flights are now completely booked. And tours.
