crystal of the castle
Crystal Castle - Byron Bay *long, slow, deep breath out* A special little world, on the top of a hill just out of Mullum, lies Crystal Castle. Buddha statues and crystals of all shapes, sizes, colours & energies create a space in which I could have spent even more hours. Yay for Byron! with M, my first travel passenger after all this time. Dude! Pretty overwhelming for a small town! After a lot of aloneness and quiet spaces it’s a little too much anyway… let’s ease into it when things are a bit more settled in my brain… Lost my car [View Full Entry]

Earth all around - goregous property
Bangalow - Mullumbimbi, Eureka, Rosebank > the Rainbow Temple Sooo sore from yesterday’s climb! But I go awandering and wandering… op shops, chocolate shop, more op shops, cheap herbal shop, pretty books and things shop - not much else to see here… and then I thought Adelaide was small… Within 5 minutes there were several of us from Joyfest gathered on the steps of ‘Santos’, THE organic shop of Mullum. I can imagine myself in these parts longer term… Still continuously catching myself trying too hard, and it’s so unsexy I know. [View Full Entry]

Mount Warning wakes me...
Mt Warning - (Uki) - (Mullumbimbi) - Bangalow Began the day with Mt Warning’s: Magical Wollumbin's 1156 feet!!! But that’s not possible for me - a 4- hour strenuous walk?! I have MS - I can’t do that! So I wasn’t going to… but I did! I just stopped feeling sorry for myself, and decided I was not going to be this close and not climb the damn volcano. Birds whipping, chuckling, gossiping, grunting, gobbling, crying, cackling & singing. And all before breakfast time. Rain in the rainforest, funny that…bringing out the scents of years past… and I [View Full Entry]

Oh Joy Oceania » Australia » Queensland
Joyfest - Nerang/Carrara, 20 mins north of Surfers Paradise. Sister didn't come as planned, things change, learning to accept the way things flow... Chaos. Disorganisation. Note to self: Know yourself to be bigger than you are. All these lovely people and I’m lonely… Most of weekend spent feeling this way… a couple of gorgeous interactions I confess: thank you for our regular exchanges of the most genuine of smiles, you most gorgeously stunning woman (I never did catch your name) from the Dragon organic ginger beer stall… and a shared hot organic jam doughnut [View Full Entry]

November 12th - 18th Brisbane My little sis’ birthday today and I make it in time as I committed to myself  Stuff. Big or little? Drama or reality? Getting to know each other and seeing my act rear its ugly head again, and again “I’m not good enough”. I thought I had a handle on that one now, but in reality what I have is the knowledge that it is all in my mind and therefore knowing I can do away with it if I choose. Yet still I find myself trying too hard to not be a certain way, [View Full Entry]

Canberra - Newcastle Country roads lined with squishy bloody road kill… makes you wonder who is more stupid, the roos or the drivers… Starting out with a 50c Enya cassette bought from the Salvos yesterday, and before I realise I am on my path and a luminescent fresh sea of green lies before me, and I’m restraining my tears… not sure what I’m feeling but something between leaving C behind and the joy of the open future… I find myself overwhelmed but mustn’t grieve here, too hard to drive between pools of tears… Fields of radiant salvatio [View Full Entry]

The colour around is beauty within... hey this is sounding more and more ethereal by the day eh? Just something to get up here so I can share the visuals!!! Oh and I must say, I really am enjoying my little world within the Utopian Luscious Beatnik :) It truly is just like coming home every night... as I approach him with keys in hand, I feel my haven near, I am coming home... bondi smog

WHAT A DAY... ergh. to the tune of $800... still, with a reasonable condition engine and a body in pretty good nick, and a gas conversion! it's still not too bad all up... after trusting my mechanic to the point of following him for the past 5 years through 3 different locations, and referring many friends to him too... I have no choice to retract my praise and compliments. Sure he looked after me with favours and squeezed me in for this and that here and there over the years which was all appreciated but now, come an important time I [View Full Entry]

The Game - Leela Oceania » Australia » Victoria » Melbourne
Made it - yeehaar me grandma What began as Ugly Lame Bastard but preferred as Honourable Heathcliff, transforms into Saschua Mitsubishi temporarily, only to arrive in Melbourne @ 8.30, as U, Lord Bacchus. Yes, slightly more fitting... although the game continues... entries readily accepted & encouraged NOW! So... struggling slightly with gear changes whilst navigating right turns from left lanes in Mlebourne's web, but eventually made it to greet ‘Dr’ Phil from Bendigo (originally met at Confest) and he became the first new passenger of Lord Bacchus!
