more internalising Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Mossman
(Day 8) I awoke in a pitiful self-loathsome state, regretful for all the shit I’ve been putting Luke through the past several days. To which he replies that I am handling it all really well and he’s surprised at just how well I am doing. Of course, I find this difficult to accept as my self-loathing berates my princess for not being tougher and ‘just dealing with it as it is’. What began as a wee joke about the mozzies has turned into a nightmare. We are in monsoon land after all… I would have rapidly lost my mind were it [View Full Entry]

March 8th Day 1 Internal Cleanse (stomach/liver/intestine/bowel) - combined with a choice Juice Fast (brought to me by Sampson) Weigh in @ 63kg. This is an herbal induced stomach/liver/intestinal & bowel cleanse so watch out it's - all coming out!! Beginning the day with a fair evacuation under the lychee tree , I’ve been looking forward to this cleanse for months now! The time just hasn’t been right between packing and this festival and that visit and this city and that quick I’ve been procrastinating and putting it off since first learning about it, as like anythi [View Full Entry]

March 4 Vee & Clinton return to Adelaide today. Luke & I remaining on Fruitopia for potentially another couple of weeks yet - a lifetime of work to be done on the farm but even more at heart, I plan to fast and cleanse my internal organs, and this has always been the intended (and somewhat procrastinated) environment. Now we are here and I want to do this! See these photos: http://www.blessedherbs.com/photos2i.html Now, wouldn’t you want THAT coming out of YOU??! Ahh maybe so… but why the fast from food also eh? Well, during a period of abstinence from food, [View Full Entry]

Feb 23rd Townsville - Mareeba with Milan Upon meeting a rather interesting fellow who seemed somewhat lost, we were moved to host him for the weekend at Fruitopia.. And the car journey begins… We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into hehe. This man can talk! And you all think I’ve a capacity to out-talk the best well well! We leaned a lot from each other… especially the value of peace *smile* Met Eric in Tully….. a solo man working against the grain since a couple of decades to establish his own fruit farm in swamp territory - [View Full Entry]

Mango-mania Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Bowen
Feb 13 Rockhampton - Mackay L’s home - thank you for your acceptance and peace. And we very nearly lost the plot with each other. Credit to Luke for everything he brings and who he totally was on this late night for the next day. We scored a couple of dozen, ripe, lush fallen mangoes from the side of a road, the front yard of a friendly old toothless gentleman, in Bororen, an hour and a half from Rocky. Feb 14 Mackay - Gin Gin - Bowen Well. From the night before, the almost certain probable future of the big V [View Full Entry]

I'm a tourist! Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Rainbow Beach
Feb 9th Crystal Waters Steve Irwin Way makes an appearance, just before the recently super famous ‘By Crikey’ Australia Zoo - on the way back perhaps, as with many things ha! Glass House Mountains too… And then Chenreizig Buddhist Temple in Eudlo and Eumundi Markets on Sunday - we got it all planned. But nothing is predictable really… Feb 10th Eumundi Markets - HUGE markets and opportunity for shopping clothes and Demtel kitchen utensils and personal accessory-thingies. We got sucked in with a $20 twisty grater thing that we were just knowing would be differe [View Full Entry]

Brissy just happens Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Brisbane
Jan 24 Victoria Point - Dad & family I’m still insanely bamboozled about 44 highways and 44 number plates and Murray Roads and Murray rest stops and Murray Rivers and Murray Highways and 44cents and $44 and everything! Jan 25 Luke’s love for Ishi has him suggest we wash her in the rain of the eve - and she LOVED it! Left Dad’s and feeling very good about who I am being with Dad & my family - for the first time I found myself not trying to fix them all and alternatively see the gold in each. Beautiful for me [View Full Entry]

Jan 22 Departed for Brissy eventually after travelling around and around to hunt down our latest fancy, Cleopatra’s Cream - Oh my… this stuff is sooooo good!! At $6+ a small tub, this delicacy is having us feel extremely decadent but how can we not? When in Byron, must do as the Byronians!  Jan 23 Tropical Fruit World - Coolangatta Over 516 tropical fruits in a big playground for adults. From tractor to boat to train - All aboard! Fruit that tastes like sweet potato, over 50 varieties of mango, lychees, several varieties of bananas, avocados, mangosteen, a gazillio [View Full Entry]

Jan 15 Lukey’s birthday!! Of course, as a man does, he insisted on nothing special occurring for the day… and so it didn’t really… Lismore & yoga - funny how in the rainbow region, time and distance seem to blend into non-existence… meaning, as a traveller, it seems no problem to drive 35 minutes from Tyagarah to Lismore just for a yoga class, then spend most of the day hanging around shopping in and out of supermarkets and sitting in the van munching on fresh mangoes, sipping on fresh green thai drinking coconuts, and making green or Cleopatra raw milk & [View Full Entry]

Jan 9 Bu-la-de-lah - Ba-daah-da-da-da bu-la-de-lah ba-dah da daah… Today Luke pissed in a bush several times and I ate rotten lettuce & sprouts… blluurgh…. Yay we finally got the box we’d bee talking about to store all the crap that’s been floating around Ishi, sending me quietly (and not so quietly insane)… And now Sufiyo is much happier, and Luke is much happier and it feels as if we are just setting out on our journey for the first time *Luke chirps in* “…and sufiyo had a No-Bra Day!” Jan 10 Booti Booti National Park [View Full Entry]
