tamara stevers Explored my heritage for the new millenium in Israel 1999/2000,
cycled Sri Lanka for MS,
roamed the land and shaved my noggin in South India 2005 (never looked back or better),
solo journeyed up the east coast creating the possibility of magic and magnificence - and there was...

- now reopening to myself and appreciating home wherever I am in the moment.... Currently Adelaide for a settled period.... :)

If you're somewhere and reckon we have something in common or some juice to share, let's connect and make raw love n blissssss :)

Regularity of updates will depend on net access of course, and energy for writing rather than living ;)

Love, light & smiles

Well what do we know...? Here I am again.. on my way 'home'! :) ...like a lifetime ago... yet so familiar ... In true Sufiyo tradition, this report comes somewhat late, though I've been thinking of you in my heart regularly :) Life in the tropical rainforest has been very good to me. Together with Luke I have lived what feels like 3 years of heart and soul in the past 10 months - can you believe it's been that long??!! And as if that doesn't blow my mind every time I consider it, we have news! No, we're not breeding... [View Full Entry]

This is the life...
This is the life...
nothing can be said... only seen and felt...
So there's been a fair amount of turbulence up here, internally mostly... more of that old up-down-around & around-inside-out stuff, working its way through to a higher level of harmony and creating beautiful new possibilities! I have so much to share with you... but it’ll have to wait for now… But the short of it is... We may have very well found Paradise here in Far North Queensland (Port Douglas has us at the moment) ... and so, it seems we are looking at making a move up here! Seems to be the Adelaidean trick actually... we have met several [View Full Entry]

Is this a new reality dawning upon my fractured spirit, or just PMT? I suppose every woman has asked herself this at some stage. But who ever knows the answer? I guess in a couple days time I’ll have clearer insight… either that or my entire universe of this past day or so will have warped itself into a black hole where I’ll be wondering how I ever doubted my sanity and have forgotten this whole episode as if it were some vague dream. With Luke away for almost a week (time has done that illusion thing and didn’t he just [View Full Entry]

Rise & Shine! Oceania » Australia » Queensland » Port Douglas
Ahh! My Rise & Shine to Peace & Power routine - I’m into action today! Outa bed @ 6.30, guzzle some freshly filtered, negatively ionised, pure alkaline, crystal clear Mossman Gorge water, take a beach walk and collect a few shells… and then some frangipani blossoms to decorate our room with, finish my 1 litre before breakfast commitment, make a rainbow veggie juice - and all by 8am My intention for the day is to be for and within myself, playing, creating, doing as I wish, being love. Traced my name and an affirmation in the sand in large rounded letters [View Full Entry]

Saturday mornings are for the Mossman Markets, a 15km/10 minute speedy drive to the next town for the exceptionally satisfying purchase of superbly grown, serviced and priced mangoes and avocados. Then there’s the little Asian lady who picks her cacao pods just for us now hehe - just $2 each! And with each one casing 30-40 really RAW chocolate beans, who are we to refuse?! Though sucking the lemon flavoured flesh is a bit of an effort I confess, and one whole pod per day is a bit much, even more of an effort to maintain - but the work pays [View Full Entry]

Luke leaves for his Big Adventure! Another totally exhausting day in Cairns. What have I become that I can no longer handle/deal with the ‘city’ anymore? Cairns is not even as populated as Adelaide by half! In fact, the streets all appear quite empty even… But the lights and heavy energy of shopping centres have always sent me into vague and heavy states - I wonder if there has ever been any research or proven info on effects of fluorescent lighting on the physical body as well as one’s state of mind. Undoubtedly. Just as research has proven that sunlight stimulat [View Full Entry]

nutty nut
nutty nut
oh my god - it's a model of my dad!
So satisfyingly enjoying the Port Douglas Market experience each Sunday…. earlyish arrival for snapping up of the best fruit & vegies, a quick cruise around the stalls and on this weekend, we finally meet Adrian & Judith (and their gathering of children) again - what a beautiful joy they all are For fifteen years they have been doing an awesome coconut stall - young nuts to drink, then split in half and scoop out the flesh - just like in India! Or, with the slightly more mature nuts, they have invented their very own hand-held grating come blending drill bit [View Full Entry]

Had a traditional tarot reading today… and wow… thankfully I overcome my initial hesitancy over the $ as it was so what I needed. My attitude card fell from the deck almost immediately when I began to shuffle: ‘Queen of Cups’: Who I Am. ‘Queen of Pentacles’: My Attitude (note for self) - I’ve always known and felt that my environment is my inspiration, because a scattered/chaotic/bland environment created precisely this in my internal mind/world >> no inspiration. I choose my power and to create my environment to be just what I want and need, [View Full Entry]

Hollow and helplessness after yet another day of emotional violence. Simultaneous steel traps of stubbornness withhold love and acceptance from each other. When will enough be enough?? Lately I feel my best when I am alone. So why can I not acknowledge to myself that I need space and time to myself and that perhaps it is best for both us for me to take that time? I have neglected my SELF. This feels good, my creative, radiant essence. Why do I not seem able to maintain both blissful states of being? In love with my life, partner AND self?! Dreamed I had green tics in my skin last night, possibly due to my pre-sleep waking thoughts of parasites crawling around my body yechh! My dream job - ice cream girl Surprisingly, I’m really enjoying it! A little disappointed with the lack of supervisory inspiration and motivation though, this could be such a fun and ‘wicked’ environment to work in but the girls I’ve shared time with so far seem mostly vacant… or somewhere else? They don’t appear to be enjoying their work and participate in small talk of their drinking, smoking, unhealthy eating habit [View Full Entry]
