On my travels again, after spending a year bouncing round oz had to come back to blighty and face reality, worked for a couple of years to get the funds for this next trip, did a great trip to Peru in between. So this time round it\'s Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Oz and Newzealand and might do the transsiberian from China via Mongolia to Russia on the way back, also planning to do my scuba divemasters,so let the good times roll.

... read moreFUN DIVE The place I work has closed for a month during quite season on Koh Tao, so I decided to go on a diving holiday with my friends to Borneo to dive Sipadan and surrounding islands Sipalan, Kaplai and Mabul , it was the most amazing diving the variety of marine life was incredible I seen everything from Hammerhead shark( no photo not quick enough), eagle rays, loads of turtle’s to Pygmy seahorse’s ( smaller than a thumb nail and perfectly camouflaged) stone fish mandarin fish, had the time of my life here’s a small selection of the pictures STEVO’S THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK IF A TURTLE DOES’NT HAVE A SHELL IS IT NAKED OR HOMELESS
... read moreSCUBA STEVO RESORT MANAGER I’ve managed to land a job managing a small dive shop on the east of the island, when I went for the interview I thought it was for the instructors job but it turned out the Norwegian couple who were managing scuba view wanted someone to take care of everything full time until they get back in January, at first I thought it was strange that someone with my limited experience was being offered this position until the first day I travelled to work and realised I couldn’t take my moped all the way as some of the inclines were to steep so I have to leave it at the top of the island then walk for twenty minutes then down 182 steps into the resort, my friend came to visit me

... read more BEND ME BABY ONE MORE TIME CHIANG MAI 18 MAY - 30 MAY Well I’m back in my comfort zone that is Koh Tao, and I have to say I’m glad to be back, It’s been a nice break but I have to say Chiang Mai didn’t live up to my expectations everyone I spoke said you had to go and raved about how great it was I just didn’t see it, I think the main problem was I was expecting more temples and old Thailand than city and new Thailand, I think starbucks outnumbers the temples (wats), also it was low season so the bars were fairly quite. There was lots of positive things about going up there though on of which was hooking up with Marion who was studying Thai massage up there
