| 21st December 2006 Dave Gray | Brings back memories - From: Haystacks on! Enjoyed your photos. Romania is a cool place, I was there in '94! I'm sure things have changed but doesn't look like a lot. The place still looks very poor and rural. I went with Romanian Uni friend and only at stayed in a hotel once. I was passed from friend to friend for a month, they are so friendly. Yes there are agressive beggers but not the worst. For those considering a visit they did most of the highlights, but the monasterys in the NE are meant to be amazing - I missed them. |

What an amazing place. The colour of the water at the base of the waterfall, the moss shrouded cloud trees, armadillos...all so beautiful. I'm glad you are having such a great journey.
