get out of the city
Laos is great provided you get out of the capital city. It is so boring in the capital. Or at least i thought so.

I tried to warn you...!
Glad you enjoyed Iguacu...sorry I didn't know about the rip off's and cash situation to warn you... first time I was on an all-expenses paid prize from work, and was so spoiled I barely even carried cash. The second time I was back-packing alone and befriended some locals who obviously saved me a few rip-off the tourist scams! Tried to warn you about San Ignacio and the other bits in between!!! Anyway, you will be having a ball in BA now. Don't rush to get away until you are done. Brilliant city...can't wait to get back. I saw on facebook you are heading to Bolivia...direct from there??? What's the plan? Let me know so I can send some more tips. Looking forwards to Aimee's update. Un beso x

Beer
As you will be out of Brazil, I recall Quilmes Argentinian beer being rather to my liking, especially when consumed in a swimming pool. We conducted research of many SAm beers. Otherwise Polar from Venezuela but it might not be available there. anyway, you are now in red wine country until you hit the Atacama desert, and it will warm you through the chilly southern evenings. Other than that, great you enjoyed Lapa... have fun, and bloody hell, the prices have gone up! Jane x

Hiya
Hi. We are home now as you suspected. We got back on 26th May. I plan on finishing the blog soon - though we didn't do so much towards the end except sunbathe! I did propose to Aimee in Bangkok - she of course accepted (who wouldn't?). So we're back in the UK looking for a house and planning a wedding. Thanks for showing an interest in what we were doing. I imagine in places the blog was a bit tedious. I wrote it for me as much as anyone else. Thanks again, Steve.
