Dear Followers Yet again i have found some time to sit down and update the blog, for this weeks feature i have decided that we will take a look at a day in the life of West Maitland street and follow up by the day that the PACKAGE came. So firstly ill just give you a quick update, last weekend i went out to take some pics of this lovely city and it started to rain, then the rain stopped then it RAINED!!!!!! Then i noticed that this place is always grey!!! The streets started to flood - i have since been advised that the drainage system over here leaves little to be desired. My work is going well and being the only ozzie there is a bit of fun (some silly people in the ... read more

Rome is amazing truly amazing - we thought Assisi was old but really this place is prehistoric. We havent really done much just the lame tourist stuff - and we have eaten the BEST food ever. We tried to book into a hostel that Steph had her eye on, however they were FULL so the manager reccomended his 'mate' and we are staying IN HIS HOUSE a little old italian man that is nice enough to give us his bedroom, we think he sleeps on the couch, but its CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP and a bit smelly and we feel ... read more

Hello all friends and family Since we have been in assisi we have hired a car, a Fiat Panda it is very small with no guts and it struggles to go down hills let alone up. Here everyone drives on the WRONG side of the road so we had a few close calls while we adjusted to the road rules, and still now we are guessing what all the different road sings mean (Casey you would love driving on these roads - however maybe not in the Panda). We went to Spello and Spoleto one day (Spello was a bit crap!) Spoleto was great Glen ate Lobster AND LOVED IT !! We also saw a huge bridge - we will let the pictures do the talking. The italian way of life is just perfect you get ... read more

Dear Family and Friends Well we have finally found a pace that suits us, away from the hussel and bussel of Bangkok (not to mention the stress) we arrived in Italy and we decided that we required a break form the big smoke so we bussed it to Perguria, without a dbout the most beautiful place we have ever seen - as usually ill let the photos do the talking however i advise that they do not do the town justice (you will have to visit for your self). After a night in Perguia we went to Assissi where mum had organised a weeks accommodation for us in the mountians. Surprise surprise it did not go according to plan we got in to the apartment and the following was BROKEN, - the safe - the gas ... read more

NOT reccomended!!! EVERYONE pls learn 24 hr time before you travel (espically what 00.01 means) So we got stuck in Bangkok and we all REALLY REALLY wanted to leave so after spending LOTS of $$ in the lovely Novetel we decided to book a new flight with Emarits Airline (waiting on stand by was not going to cut it, seeing that the Thai flights to rome were ... read more
