| 13th July 2009 Rhoda Kennedy | My birthplace-Isle of Arran - From: DELETED I felt like I was back there just looking at those photos. They are magnificent. Arran has gradually changed over the years and does keep up with the times, but thankfully there are some aspects of Arran that have not changed much. The foreshore dotted with small shops selling local fair, the villagers hurrying about doing their messages and the locals with a pride and hospitality like no where else. All this creates a small world unknown to the rest. How lucky for any tourist to find this little gem. Cheers Rhoda |

Cool man :o) . Great pictures as usual |
| 23rd July 2007 Uppuma | Food Glorious Food ! - From: Backwaters Great pictures !! especially the one of the delicious food which is a typical south Indian meal. What you were drinking from the coconut was the coconut water . Coconut milk is actually the liquid that is squeezed out of the coconut kernel( the white flesh of the coconut) and is usually used in cooking--it is not particularly nice to drink. The coconut you're holding appears to be young which means the flesh would have been very tender and jellylike-- yummy. Well Steffen what with lessons in zoology and culinary, your expertise in these two fields is going to grow and know no bounds, your photograpic genius is streaks ahead though !!!!! :o) |
| 12th July 2007 GR | colour colour and MORE COLOUR !! - From: Jaisalmer and Jaipur ......that's what's striking wherever you go in Rajasthan.
