Butanding
Back here in the Philippines, we call them "Butandings" . Been wondering if these whale sharks migrate between Donsol, Sorsogon in the Phillippines (Nov to May) and Mexico (June onwards) and Australia. Whatever, it was quite a thrill to see and swim with them , right? And I'm not even confident about my swimming!

amazing place !
Great pictures and the colours are amazing very rustic and earthy. What an amazing place, will need three days there I think!

Getting around in Jordan
I haven't had a chance to visit Jerash but travelling between Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum is straightforward and quite safe. Choose between cheap public buses and minibuses for long distance connections. Alternatively, go for a taxi - it is often easy to find someone who is willing to share as Jordan is one of these countries where foreign visitors are usually headed to the same destinations

Wow your pictures of the desert are great. The microflight sounds just perfect - I must try it. I am going to Jordan next January, I hope to visit Wadi Rum, Petra and Jerash. Have you been to Petra and Jerash? How easy is it to travel in Jordan?
