great showcase of pictures of these magnificent temples/monuments/cathedrals. Teotihuacan looks massive , I suppose an aerial view from the balloon is worth every cent .

My birthplace-Isle of Arran - From: DELETED
I felt like I was back there just looking at those photos. They are magnificent. Arran has gradually changed over the years and does keep up with the times, but thankfully there are some aspects of Arran that have not changed much. The foreshore dotted with small shops selling local fair, the villagers hurrying about doing their messages and the locals with a pride and hospitality like no where else. All this creates a small world unknown to the rest. How lucky for any tourist to find this little gem. Cheers Rhoda

Egypt glorious Egypt - From: The ancient temples of Luxor and Karnak
Anyone travelling to have a taste of Egypt, be it temples, tombs, new sensations or adventures would not be disappointed with Luxor - it would oblige the traveller readily as your pictures testify - great pictures which tell many stories... how parts of the world have barely changed , people still dress in their traditional dress , they follow their customs and traditions , live simply and some skilfully fleece you . Anyway mate, I would like to give the butcher and all that dead flesh a miss .. gruesome :-(

Good job! - From: Egyptian pyramids - Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur
Hey Steffen! Such a beautiful photos of pyramids! I even have some kind imagination afterwards that I have visited them once, but I haven't. Especially I like calm and careless expression of camel, it was really posing for your shot :) Why don't you take part in some photocontest? I would be fan of your pictures! ;) I also have read your description of pyramids - a lot of useful info. Good job! P.S. I am going soon to Azerbaijan and maybe will organise my profile too, when I will get some free time. Best wishes from Kiev

Food Glorious Food ! - From: Backwaters
Great pictures !! especially the one of the delicious food which is a typical south Indian meal. What you were drinking from the coconut was the coconut water . Coconut milk is actually the liquid that is squeezed out of the coconut kernel( the white flesh of the coconut) and is usually used in cooking--it is not particularly nice to drink. The coconut you're holding appears to be young which means the flesh would have been very tender and jellylike-- yummy. Well Steffen what with lessons in zoology and culinary, your expertise in these two fields is going to grow and know no bounds, your photograpic genius is streaks ahead though !!!!! :o)

......that's what's striking wherever you go in Rajasthan. Your photos capture that vibrancy and the beauty of the local scenes and people. Seeing your India pictures reminds me of my recent travels in India...India is awesome....the splendour and beauty of Mehrangarh Fort is hard to beat - I fell in love with this pile of beautiful stonework :-) and in so many other places in India too.........
