We woke up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach, seemingly right outside our tent flap. The rain and stormy weather had stirred up the lake even more than before. It made for quite the pleasant wake up call. Everyone but Bonnie had already gotten up and were eating breakfast. More fruit plates and sticky buns. Mmmm. Heather made the fruit trays today, but I've gotta say, definitely not as attractive as mine were. The rest of the time was spent cleaning up and drinking coffee while the rain continued to come down in a gentle sprinkle. Everybody left at exactly noon, but I chose to stick around and wait until the rain stopped. I could get home before 8 or 9 if I left at 2 p.m. so I wasn't worried. I ... read more
