We had planned visiting Bristol and Cliffton Suspension Bridge on 13 May. Mark had printed the maps and bus timetables from the Internet. We caught the bus from Bristol from the bus terminal in Bath. After having an hour journey a wide area of residential houses and large buildings appeared in our sight. Bristol is regarded as a city and every single building looked bigger than Bath and Gloucest

Mark had booked Avon Guest House on Pulteney Road. It was quite easy for us to find the hotel on 11 May 2013. The hotel owner gave warm and friendly welcome to us and explained us that there were a number of historic buildings within the walking distance in Bath. After having a rest we walked to the town centre. We popped in Bath Abbey and looked round the inside. There was a special exhibition

As expected it took over an hour to travel to Osterley Park by tube. Upon the arrival we followed the footpath along the Avenue. We found brown and white cows and calves grazing on the pasture field on the left hand on the way to the main entrance. As planned we sat on the grass and had a picnic on the main lawn surrounded by the house and lake. There were a lot of people either sitting on t

Sachis mum Mrs Shinobu Negishi is interested in plants. There are some gardens where they could offer attractions over the winter period. Kew Gardens is one of them. Hence I took her there on Wednesday 13 February. Like the previous day when they arrived in London it was bitterly cold on 13 February. Mrs Negishi treated me to the entrance fees for Kew Gardens.
